Introduction of smart transportation boxes for provision and delivery of production tools to be maintained and recertified (part 2): Based on existing information about tools inside the box, location as well as the environmental conditions outside the box will give indications about the maintenance efforts to be expected for the enclosed tools. The expected efforts are sent to another IT-system of the maintenance service provider which is responsible for the daily operation planning of maintenance tasks of the maintenance crew and will be used there for fine planning of operational processes.
