Challenge:
Realtime prediction of maintenance lead times: Maintenance tasks, which are conducted at the facility of a maintenance service provider, are tracked. The incoming tracking data (such as start and end time of an activity for a certain tool) shall be also used for analytics which can then be used by the maintenance planning system for providing forecasts concerning any which has to be expected due to the current workload and the variety as well as condition of the incoming production tools to be maintained. The forecasts shall be also used for determining the workforce (number of workers) which is required to keep schedules/deadlines and reduce the delays as far as possible.
