Monitor and improve the efficiency of production processes.
Challenge:
The mattress production plant has an area of 65 thousand square meters where different lines for the production of components and product assembly are located. The company wants to adapt its production process to the ISO 50001 standard, providing a framework of requirements related to energy management. Currently, the factory is equipped with a control and supervision system (based on SCADA + PLC) for primary services (water, gas, electricity) and the air conditioning of warehouses and production areas, but the different production cells do not have any type of centralized data collection and, in some cases they are outdated machinery without a modern control system.
The approximate number of work cells is 60 (of different types and manufacturers).
Main Requirements:
- Always-on process monitoring (Power, Consumed Energy, Temperature, etc.);
- Create Alerting and notification system;
- Improve machine utilization.
