——

Industry 4.0 is the ongoing automation of traditional manufacturing and industrial practices, using modern smart technology. Large-scale machine-to-machine communication (M2M) and the internet of things (IoT) are integrated for increased automation, improved communication and self-monitoring, and production of smart machines that can analyze and diagnose issues without the need.

Planet4 – Practical Learning of Artificial Intelligence on the Edge for indusTry 4.0 project enables a knowledge transfer between academia and industry. The main purpose of this international project is to train a new generation of AI and ML on the edge experts who will contribute to the spreading of the I4.0 real practices in the EU companies by enabling the use of AI and ML for the optimization of industrial processes.

The project Planet4 is co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union.
