Over 30 challenges related to Industry 4.0 and AI with IoT have been collected by project partners from various manufacturing companies. These challenges are being addressed through AI on the Edge technologies by students who are supported by the Taxonomy developed by the Planet4 project.
All solutions will be uploaded to the project website under the Best Practices platform. The platform has been launched already and will be continuously updated with new challenges and the best solutions proposed by students on the Planet4 course.
Each Best Practice is presented in a clear and reusable format that is divided into two main sections: problem formalization and solution description. The problem formalization section includes information about the company and the specific industrial problem they are facing that requires the use of AI and ML techniques. Meanwhile, the solution description section provides a schematic representation of how the Industry 4.0 problem has been solved.
