A new challenge, developed by Planet4 partner’s Elecnor’s systems department, with SCADA and GIS technologies to monitor and control more efficiently, more than 100 infrastructures of the complete water cycle of the 10 municipalities of the Mancomunidad del Añarbe (Spain).

The project consists of the creation of a new SCADA system based on Wonderware Iberia’s System Platform and GIS technology, from where it will be possible to control and supervise the water supply, sanitation and purification systems that serve the 10 municipalities of the community of Añarbe, in the Basque Country. A total of 100 infrastructures will be monitored, including: the Añarbe Dam, the Petritegi DWTP and the Loiola WWTP.
Thanks to this project we will achieve:
- Unification of the different systems on the same platform;
- Improvement in infrastructure Management;
- Real-time representation and command over the equipment;
