On 12 of June 2021 there was organized 11th Conference Lean Learning Academy “Manufacturing Education for a Sustainable fourth Industrial Revolution” at Rzeszow University of Technology, Poland. The topic for this year was “Manufacturing Education for a Sustainable Fourth Industrial Revolution”. The Conference was focused on engineering education in the context of Industry 4.0.
On the Conference the industrial point of view on the topic was presented. Moreover, the results of the projects realized in the area of the Industry 4.0 were discussed. The emerging competences in defense industry context identified in the frame of ASSETs+ project, the new competences supporting sustainable industry identified in the frame of MAESTRO project and topics in the area of Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things and Edge Computing identified in the frame of PLANET4 important for engineers are highlighted.
Łukasz Paśko, Rzeszow University of Technology, Rzeszow, Poland, presented the topic “Artificial Intelligence methods in industrial problems solving – the results from PLANET4 research”.
